Basingstoke: Can the bank seize any other assets besides the house if I get foreclosed upon?
I have great credit and no other debts. If i buy a house, lose my job and can't afford mortgage payments can the bank go after my other assets (stocks, bank accounts, etc.) or will they just take the house back? I'm concerned about keeping my other investments safe if I buy a house. I live in Connecticut...

Basingstoke: Yo dudes help me out. Thank you?
I work as a security guard at bank. Me and the fellow guards are bored on the job. My Son has an xbox 360, while he was at school, i went in his room and stole it, i broke the window so it would look like a break in. Later i brought it into work. Me and the other guardes set it up in the staff room. Everything was great untl it would save our games. It needs a hardrive; isnt there one built inside? or could i have damaged it when i broke the window with it? Thanks...

Basingstoke: Help! I have stretch marks!?
I left a somewhat active job (bank teller) for a desk job promotion. That was about 8 months ago, and since then, I have dealt with a huge amount of personal stress and gained a significant amount of weight (about 20-30 lbs). Now I have stretch marks on my stomach and they show up bad because I have very light skin. It looks like I've had a baby and I've never been pregnant. I've recently started working out 3-4 days a week doing cardio and some weights, changed my diet and have started using Palmer's stretch mark cream on my stomach twice a day. Does anyone have any suggestions to help make the marks less apparent, and any foods that will help?...

Basingstoke: Are greedy unions causing themselves to die out?
Is this a sort of economic Darwinism? Unions demand so much money from their employers that the companies go under. If the union doesn't adapt it dies out and take it's captive companies with it. This question is in response to someone who thought the unions can do no wrong and that if the companies should go under, all the blame lies with the management, none with the union. I guess he's never ran a business and had people he depended on not show up for work. Don't get me wrong. I'm not totally anti-union despite being royally screwed years ago by the Carpenters Local. Many unions provide a valuable service representing their workers, providing health and re...

Basingstoke: Should there be a law on how soon government officials can go to work for the companies they have bailed out?
I would imagine after their work for the government was finished in regards to the bailout they would leave their posts and go to work for those same companies. I could see the former treasury officials taking banking jobs after they leave the government. Former congressmen are restricted from lobbying for two years. Should bailout executives be restricted from working in the finance industry for two years?...

Basingstoke: Real life indecent proposal. What should we do?
My wife and I are facing serious, serious problems. I got laid off and have gone to a dozen job agencies and looked into every single listing. No jobs. I had to take a part time fast food job to still collect unemployment. 5 months ago my wife and I bought our dream house and spent our savings on the downpayment. Now we are facing forclosure and bankruptcy. We have gone to banks about loans and got turned down. Both of our families are quite poor families that can barely make there own bills. My wife broke down crying at lunch with a friend. This local investor (total rich asshole) over heard her tell her friend. He is our age but made several hundred million when he built homes for ch...

I owe Tcf bank some money, and I thought it would show up on my credit report but I checked it recently and I didnt see it marked on there, whereas I thought it would. But i recently saw on Oprah that bad credit can stop you from getting a job and I have been unsuccesful in getting hired lately, and Im afraid that my credit history with the bank has something to do with that....
