Hello. My name is Amber and I'm a 14 year old middle school student.
I have been picked on and made fun of for years. I'm called emo/goth , I'm made fun of by the music I listen to, my hair, my clothes, the way I walk, talk, or anything that people know can annoy me. I have made two true friends throughout the years, but one of them moved and the other one is moving soon. Amanda, the one that currently attends this school, is in all honors classes, and I can't even grasp one subject as well as others can. So obviously, I'm currently in NO honors classes, and I think I already ruined next year for myself.

Bangor: I need some ideas for a project (please read full story)?
So I applied at a store the other day for a summer job, but here's the catch: you need to make your own application, and I don't mean writing your own, I mean MAKING. I have to figure out a way to make an application out of any objects (broken skateboards are overused and no longer accepted). I need help finding an object or something to make this application out of, any ideas? Hint: the store specializes in selling stuff like Hot Topic merch (it's not a hot topic) such as gloves, rock music, and skate gear....

Bangor: HELP! Don't know what to do w/ my life (long but help is appreciated as much as hookers appreciate penicillin)?
I'm 21 and having a hard time figuring out what career I want to pursue. It's about time I finally select my major. I need a job that's different everyday since I get bored easily and want to learn about/do everything. The things I've seriously considered are nursing, graphic design, engineering, plastic surgeon, crime scene investigator, physical therapist, construction management, hospitality, zoologist, marine biologist....so as you can see I'm all over the place. What's really appealing to me right now is investigative reporting since there's so much potential for variety--but it looks like they don't make much money.

Hi, I recently graduated from a major university with a bachelors in music performance and possibly due to laziness, and partly the economy, I am working at a Starbucks. I think the reality is that I never did certain things to get students, like performing demonstrations at local schools, or posting flyers, but I also applied to over a hundred jobs, complete with resumes and some with cover letters. The question then is this- should I spend more time working at Starbucks, or should I spend more time finding guitar students? Starbucks=minimum wage, guitar lessons=$40/hour. Bangor: Being White Washed or Ghetto/ What do people mean by this?
This is why black people are so hard on each other. Because get the terms White Washed and Ghetto confused. It's such a touchy subject that it's never clear what people mean.
White Washed - does not mean you being black speak proper, have a great educational background, make good money, and don't accept things that is perceived to be black culture that isn't black culture(I'll get to that).

Bangor: How to I achieve motivation and direction in my life?
I am 25, I went to college pursuing majors that did not interest me, I went for a practical marketing/business degree and found my self in my second sales job in less than a year, doing the same thing day in and day out.
I live at home, and unsteady jobs have given me cold feet about moving out mostly because i dont know if I will have a job in 3 months.
I want a sales job cause I like how sales people can be lazy and make 6 figures but i really dont have a sales personality and I am not that great with people.
