Bangor: Is anyone scared to death that the economy is free falling and many of us will be in poverty soon?
I can not watch the news anymore. It is so scary out there. Many of my friends have lost their jobs and they describe a job market that is the worst it has been since the 1930s. If I do lose my job I will likely be homeless because all the good jobs are gone unless you have specific skills. Do you expect to be in serious trouble in 2009 in the deep economic depression?...

Bangor: Is there a type of photo ID that does not list date of birth?
I am applying for jobs and do not want to disclose my age since it's not mandatory by law to have to do so, however the employer always asks for 2 forms of ID including photo ID and my driver's license obviously lists my birth date. Is there a way to get a fake one or a real one with altered age (just to change the date of birth for employer who isn't even required to know my age, just that i'm over 18 or 21 if selling alcohol). All the other info on it would be accurate of course. And is this legal? If not I wouldn't do it of course. But as I'm getting older and the job market is getting tighter and I look much younger than my actual age, it would be for a good...

Bangor: Do you think going to grad school full-time to get a master's degree in marketing research is a good idea?
The economy is incredibly weak but I really want to go to school full-time for 9 months. It would be expensive but I could cover it through loans and my money. I'm just concerned about the job market after getting the master's degree....

Bangor: Is Sparta Marketing Group Inc. a real company?
Their website at http://www.spartamarketinginc.com/ is very amateurish, their ad for jobs sound too good to be true, and I cannot find any info about them or the company on google, only job ads come up. I tried finding them on bbb.org but no luck....

Bangor: What's the most ridiculous information that a potential employer asked you for?
I'm just curious. I'm in the job market again and I have an employer wanting my college transcripts (which i'm 4 years out of school). While that's not super weird (just annoying), it got me thinking: what do other employers want from candidates? What's a crazy or an annoying request you've received?...

Bangor: How can I better my interviews?
I have had several interviews over the last few months since graduating college in June. I go into interviews upbeat but come out thinking I am just not right for these positions. I have a bachelors in business with a focus on marketing and I'm beginning to think this just isn't for me. I do enjoy certain aspects of marketing like research and analysis, but I am not seeing any entry level positions for this. It is pretty much sales or clerical work. I would prefer anything over sales. Now I don't neccessarily have a confidence issue, but I'm afraid that I am coming off that way in my interviews. I don't have any relevant experience and despite being 23 I look ...

Bangor: Real life indecent proposal. What should we do?
My wife and I are facing serious, serious problems. I got laid off and have gone to a dozen job agencies and looked into every single listing. No jobs. I had to take a part time fast food job to still collect unemployment. 5 months ago my wife and I bought our dream house and spent our savings on the downpayment. Now we are facing forclosure and bankruptcy. We have gone to banks about loans and got turned down. Both of our families are quite poor families that can barely make there own bills. My wife broke down crying at lunch with a friend. This local investor (total rich asshole) over heard her tell her friend. He is our age but made several hundred million when he built homes for ch...

Bangor: Thinking of moving to the treasure coast area...?
Ok, we live in Kansas and are considering a move to the treasure coast area (around Port St. Lucie, Stuart, Hobe Sound, Palm City) and wondered what people know about the area? We are tired of the winter here and from my research the cost of living there is comparable or even a little better than here. What is the best town to live in? We were kinda looking for a smaller town so PSL would be lower on the list because of its size... what are the schools and job market like in Martin County? Is it a good place to raise kids? Thanks...
