Ayr: Does this incident at Walmart constitute a potential lawsuit?
I have been employed with Walmart since May of this year. I have two incidents which I think could be potential lawsuits..
1.) I admit, sometimes I am 10 or 15 minutes late. But I get the job done. And I've even stayed TWO HOURS over to zone my entire area. Everyone else in my department walks around the store all day and I am left begging someone to take the register for me to have my break or take lunch or go to the bathroom. My assistant manager over my department is a caucasian man in his 30s and he has threatened to fire me if I'm ever late again. (I've never had a write-up, btw.) Ayr: When you don't wanna go to school, what do you usually say to your parents?
I cannot go in school tomorrow,
my best friend is ill, and the rest of my class sucks.
Of course, there are a few I like, but not really.
And, tomorrow we will visit a job information center.
So, you can't call it school. ._.
I already visited one last year, so I guess I don't have to go there again. But my parents won't understand it.
Help me, please.

Ayr: What do i say to my boss?
I am very sick of my boss...She is EXTREMELY self centered. Thinks she is the only one and I should be there whenever she calls (seriously) she calls me at 6am and asks me (on my one day off or when i am going to be there later) if i can come right now. She also expects me to just drop everything and be there that minute..and when i can't (i have school and family and other things) she gets really mad and threatens to fire me..
when i do work everything i do is not good enough and she yells at me..or gets irritated and will not talk to me...Or if she messes something up it is all my fault...

Ayr: Is there something wrong with me or am I at least semi-normal?
I have a professor that has drastically changed my way of thinking on certain issues and I find the class very interesting. It's a subject that I knew very little about and have had to swallow my pride (and fear of looking stupid) to ask questions and talk to him. Even though he said he wished that he had more students like me that cared enough to ask questions, I feel that he is annoyed with my questions. I am not the center of the universe, I know. But I have an A in that class and finals are next week, and I'm sure that I will still have an A - my point is that I have worked SO hard and he knows it.
Am I just being insecure or needy that I want him to at least once say,...

I remember after 9-11 Rosie went on tv and said that if 9-11 wasnt an inside job and the world trade center wasnt destroyed by Bush using explosives then that is the first time in the history of the world that steel ever melted in a fire. What I would like to know is, does she think that we find steel in the ground already formed for what we need it for? I mean do I beams form naturally in the ground? Ayr: What's it mean if your spouse is doubting you more lately?
It's getting annoying. I haven't changed, but lately my wife has reverted a bit to where she is criticizing my driving more (I have a perfect driving record), rolls her eyes when I say I'm going to do some electrical repairs around the house (I'm actually handy and always do projects I say I'm going to do), or says, even though I've been exercising hard for over a year and feel pretty normal as far as weight goes now, that I'm fat, or even doubts little things, like if I say this year's Rockefeller Center tree looks small (I found out later thanks to a contact on this site, it IS much smaller this year). Ayr: What can we do? How can we work around this?
Itc coming up for christmas, and i need a job. I have an oppertunity and im going to the induction tomorow, thing is, its between 7 and 8. I would only be working saturday and sunday with a 5 am start.
Thing is, i told my fiance this on the phone, and i only see him at weekends since we live opposite sides of the city and i have more free time than hin, because he has college.
If i take this job, i won't see him for a couple of weeks. I did say we could meet during the week in the city center, but he said he has college the next day.
He seemed really upset, nothing is going right the now, everything seems to wanna rip us apart, all my jobs. Its getting me really down, especia...

Ayr: How can I spin my work experience positively for a career change ?
1) Pizza shop as kid
2) Petrol station at School.
3) Retail hardware store at school, and after graduation.
4) Worked for a bank, as Customer representative in call center.
5) Admin/graduate officer (with some policy work) at large government department.
I played football and did some extra curricular activities.
At age 27 I want to do something that will make me more important.
Considering another degree in either mathematics, science, law or even engineering.
Or furthering my education in Economics through a masters..
Science would be a total change over. I'd get my PHD, I have an old passion. Or I could make use of my research skills in my current job.
