Ayr: what are the best places to meet a girl?
i consider myself a nice guy, not a bad boy. and i am proud of that. but i seem to flirt at the wrong times, like when i was working at a retail job a while ago, kept getting in trouble for talking to girls lol. now i am working at construction job so i dont talk to girls at all at that job, and im just wondering what some good places would be to maybe find a nice girl. i tried talking to this one girl in a store she worked at but i felt like such an idiot, it was so akward and it just didnt feel like a good place to flirt. but what are some places that actually encourage flirting or is more accepted? im at a loss here. i dont want to come off as a creepy to any girls when i talk to them....

Ayr: I accepted a construction proposal and I have since lost my job.?
I was wondering if there was any way to get out of it. I haven't given any money yet, I just signed a proposal. I just lost my job and just cannot afford to have it done now, but I don't want to get sued. Please give me some advice. Just to be clear, no work has been done yet. Work is not supposed to start for another 2 weeks. I really hate being in this position, but without a job I just cannot do it. Also, it wasn't a contract, but a proposal. I'm not quite sure if a proposal and a contract are the same thing, but I don't think so since the proposal is pretty much just the bid and how the payment is to be made....

Ayr: HELP! Don't know what to do w/ my life (long but help is appreciated as much as hookers appreciate penicillin)?
I'm 21 and having a hard time figuring out what career I want to pursue. It's about time I finally select my major. I need a job that's different everyday since I get bored easily and want to learn about/do everything. The things I've seriously considered are nursing, graphic design, engineering, plastic surgeon, crime scene investigator, physical therapist, construction management, hospitality, zoologist, marine biologist....so as you can see I'm all over the place. What's really appealing to me right now is investigative reporting since there's so much potential for variety--but it looks like they don't make much money. My strong points are writin...

Ayr: Do commercial construction sites hire walk-ons anymore?
Back in the days you used to be able to walk on any job site and get hired rite then and there. I been told by a few that you now have to wait and find a Sub-Contractor or go through a labor contracting service or day labor staffing company. Can you still get a job just by going up to the construction trailers anymore?...
