I have chronic problems with asthma and bronchitis.
This is not my worst problem. Bronchitis is No worse here than outside, except I cannot breath this
cold air without having severe pain. I wheeze. I am not leaving here voluntarily. I enjoy my child and grchids so much whether they do me or not.
So far so good this year. Mild beginning emphysema.
Severe pain bilateral lower extremities, severe varicose

I need to know if theres a way to 'un-brainwash' someone whos Very closed-minded with a time limit of about half a year. He's recently become a christian(which to me is great) and became engaged to a Bad, controlling, hateful girl and because of these things, he's quit his job to be with this girl who always seems to be 'sick', neglected All of his friendships, is Officially stupidly-dirt poor, and is in general ruining his future. He won't listen to logic, and i was hoping to find a solution before he messes up again and gets married. If you can, please help....

My husband had an affair 8 years ago while I was pregnant with our second child, and we divorced when I was 7 months pregnant upon HIS request. Ayr: How can I change my perspective?
LIfe is so hard due to the economy and unemployment.. I had no jobs for the past two months.
I am a Christian but it seems like God is so far away, distant when he doesnt answer me physically.. Although I know he is right next to me, I cant seem to find comfort and peace. I pray that I may be victorious, find joy in my spiritual battle but all I am getting is depressed when things dont go right... Somtimes I am lacking in faith.. Although I know God listens to our prayers, it makes me feel that I have to say the right word, right stuff to God so that he can answer me....
How can I have a better perspective? it seems like I am under God's wrath sometimes when things dont go right......

If you dont do your job at work you get fired, or sued for negligence if somone gets hurt.
Now in europe especailly the Netherlands with a low teen pregancy and std rate they have their act together.. they start around 5 and do it weekly till 18 so by the time they reach an age where many uk and US kids start the Dutch kids have had 100s of hours of lessons.
Here the parents work with the schools and no or very little pulling kids out of lessons so they are kept thickos
Now compare that to intelligence of a kid studying French... one has hundreds of hours, one has one... who ...

Today i'm going through one of the worse times of my life, I have gone through some terrible things over the last 6 years. Lost family members, see family fight over inheritances and kick me and mother out of my grandmothers home, to live in hotels for two months. I want some fellow Christian input on this one... Why do Christians attack fellow Christians?
I'm not a radical, right wing, Conservative, snake handling, Bible thumping Christian. I believe in one God, the 10 Commandments, and have a do unto others as you'd have them do unto you approach to life. However, I've had radical Christians attack me on Y! Answers. Why?

Ayr: Do Atheists/Agnostics/non-religious people realize that not all Christians are right wing or conservative?
I'm just wondering...It seems to be a common theme (on here) that Christians are all right wing and conservatives and mostly republicans.
I'm a Christian and I think that overly religious people, right wing and super conservative Christians are whack-jobs and they have no bearing with me. I realize that not all Atheists/Agnostics/non-believers/non-religious people are on a crusade to prove Christianity wrong, etc. I'm just wondering why there is such a stereotype of Christians as all being conservative or right wing....

I would like to hear about the advantages or disadvantages you have noticed on being a Christian witness in the workplace if you work on a secular job?
Wow! You guys are off the chain! I am asking because I am writing a research paper, and surveying is an accepted form of research. Talk about throwing stones! It could be something as simple as telling someone God bless you, or offering to pray for someone who is troubled or has a need, or outright sharing the gospel.
