Job Description
An exceptional role within a North American software company newly established in Malaga :
Responsibilities:
• Production of high quality, maintainable code.
• Writing, maintaining and documenting unit and integration tests.
• Documentation of new and modified functionality.
• Performance of peer code reviews and analysis.
Requirements:
Essential
• 2 to 5 years of commercial, J2EE experience (must be recent).
• Good web development (html, JavaScript, css) and database (SQL, relational theory) skills.
• Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of source control packages, in particular cvs and svn.
• Familiarity with unit testing techniques, in particular using JUnit.
Desirable
• University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience of JBoss, Spring (dependency injection, mvc, webflow, etc), EJB2, EJB3, AOP.
• Experience of working in an agile development environment.
• Experience of high performance, high availability systems.
• Knowledge of current trends in Java / awareness of popular open source projects.
• Knowledge of other languages (Groovy, C#, Ruby, Python, etc).
• Knowledge of build processes: ant, maven, continuous integration.
• Experience of the iGaming industry.
