Job Description
Home Ownership Officer to work in East London, immediate start with good rates of pay.
To undertake all aspects of the day to day management of Right to Buy, pre-assignment inquiries and leasehold matters to ensure that a customer-orientated service is provided to all Council tenants, leaseholders and other stakeholders.
Main Duties as a Home Ownership Officer Include:
•To be responsible for the processing of Right to Buy applications up to the conveyance stage including the service of the various Notices within the statutory time limits.
•To assist in the co-ordination and preparation of annual service charge estimates and actual certificates, including recharges in respect of Section 20 matters to ensure that the cost relating to each property are correctly calculated in accordance with the terms of the lease and that the accounts are issued within the statutory time scales.
•To calculate estimated service charges and assist in the creation of new leasehold service charge accounts
Key Skills are:
•Must have working knowledge of Right To Buy
•London Borough experience
•Up to date working knowledge of processing RTB applications up to conveyance stage
•Valid UK work permit
