Job Description
Abrecco are recruiting on behalf of a respected game company for Game Network Programmer. The purpose of the role is to create and integrate systems for multi-player games. The winning candidate must have the following skills/experience:
Essential
- C++ programming.
- TCP/UDP protocols.
- SQL/ADO database programming.
Desirable
- Xbox Live or PlayStation Network (PSN)
- An understanding of the cause of network lag / latency / bandwidth issues and possible ways to minimise their effects in a multiplayer game.
