We are a specialist recruitment agency and we are currently looking for an experienced Facilities Quantity Surveyor for our Wiltshire based client. Departmental Overview
Facilities are responsible for operating and maintaining site infrastructure and utilities, management of support services,
in-house construction management of building and engineering installations, building fabric maintenance and wider commercial activities such as property/construction insurance matters, business rates and energy procurement.
Key Role & Responsibilities
Role:
The group is looking to strengthen it s Quantity Surveying element within the construction project team with the appointment of QS Engineering Staff.
Responsibilities:
Manage procurement strategies
Manage tender process including tender package and evaluation
Development of construction project budgets and cost plans
Manage and control project budgets including control of variation and change order
Manage payment application process
Management and control of contract documents
Potential support with European construction projects
Manage team of QS staff
Person Specification:
Working towards or possesses relevant degree or equivalent relating to QS within construction projects
Member of RICS or working towards membership
Demonstrable experience within a QS role within construction projects
