Emmissions Engineer

Salary depending on experience - guideline £10-15.00 per hour
We are a recruitment agency and we are currently looking for a number of experienced Body Engineers within the automotive engineering sector. All candidates will need to have work experience within the relevant discipline, please visit our website colbernlimited co uk for more roles.
Main purpose of job is conducting light and heavy duty vehicle exhaust emissions and fuel consumption tests, liaising with customers regarding test programmes and results, writing test reports.
Managing the technical and financial elements of exhaust emissions and fuel economy projects within the Powertrian department. Significant emphasis on dealing with customers. Ideally, experience of running emissions tests on gasoline, diesel and alternative powertrains and reporting of data to customers.
Must be suitably qualified and have experience in similar role within an automotive test environment.
Should have a detailed understanding of exhaust emissions analysers and transient chassis dynamometer operation
Must have a thorough understanding of vehicle manufacturer's strategies regarding exhaust after treatment systems and control
Must be enthusiastic and have the drive to succeed in a very customer focused flexible and committed team of engineers.
Pay rate £10-£15 per hour
