Completion Engineer
Portsmouth, Hampshire, South East
Salary is negotiable depending on experience
As a specalist recruitment agency we are currently recruiting for our client a Completion Engineer.
The Completion Engineer will be responsible for managing the systems and work process necessary for successful and timely completion of the plant and turnover to the Client.
The role and responsibilties of the Completion Engineer may include but shall not be limited to the following:Operation of the Completions database including ensuring correct input and maintenance of engineering data, status updating, management reporting and generation of turnover documentation.
Co-ordination between all parties involved in the turnover process including Contractor, subcontractors, vendors, Client project team and Client Operations. Turnover system definition and input to database.
Punch listing co-ordination.
Scheduling, reporting and follow-up for safety and operability walkdowns of the plant.
Close-out of Hazop actions.C
ompilation of as-built documentation.
Compilation of turnover packages to Client and development of procedures for safe control of work operations during the transition from construction to commissioning to start-up and initial operation.
Management of site technical registers including Technical Queries, Non-Conformance Reports, Site Instructions etc., to ensure their timely close-out and proper incorporation into as-built drawings and turnover documentation.
Training of internal and subcontractor personnel (as required) in the operation of Completions database Controlling the transfer of data between subcontractor databases and the Completions database Categorisation of punchlist items and determination of their technical and contractual validity.
Preferred Qualifications:
A recognised Degree in an engineering or science discipline or HND or equivalent AND NEBOSH Certificate
Significant experience in the Process Industry in a Engineering/Completions role
Mobility required for business trips and occassional assignments across Europe and Internationally.
