General support to the commercial department to include the following activities:
Updating of SAP database with new projects, MPPs, etc including new supplier requests
Under necessary supervision, preparation of quotations and commercial proposals for small bids submitted by the Business Unit, including preparation of appropriate UK Terms and Conditions and/or review of customers' contract conditions.
Support to other commercial members of staff in preparation of bids and liaising with subcontractors
Preparation for and approval by the Commercial manager of Non-Disclosure Agreements in accordance with company instructions and standards.
Maintenance of central register and filing system for all Agreements.
Maintenance of central register of contracts and subcontracts.
The administration of nominated contracts to ensure that all Terms and Conditions are being complied with and any situation likely to represent a risk to the Business is dealt with and managed or highlighted to the Commercial Manager.
To cover all commercial activities relating to invoicing, change notes, etc. as required during the life of the contract.
Support to the Proposals Manager in relation to monitoring of bids throughput
Support Proposals Manager in creation/maintenance of a database regarding anticipated proposals and tenders
To provide admin support to the Commercial Department on various activities relating, but not limited to, project debtors, archiving, central agreements register/filing.
Adherence to all Earth Observation Navigation & Science commercial procedures and maintenance of all contract related records.
Ad hoc activities relating to invoicing and other contractual administrative issues

Essential:
Good experience within an administrative role. Excel, Word, Outlook etc, SAP.
Willingness to learn

Desirable:
Experience within an international company would be an advantage

Successful candidates will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment.
