Chassis Engineer
Salary £25-32,000 including shift allowances

The role of Chassis Engineer is within the quality division, whose primary functions are:-
To prevent the occurrence of functional and design quality problems.
To constantly improve design and quality of the new models from the viewpoint of complete vehicle production and allow smooth launch into mass production.
To analyse problems which concern complete vehicle function or design quality.
Implement solutions quickly to minimise impact to cost and quality.
Job Requirements
Process and control quality/design related documents
Responsible for chassis test planning, testing and reporting
Support new model introduction, mass production quality improvement and problem solving.
Create and update quality control documents in the new model projects
Problem solving at all stages
Experience
Experience in manufacturing environment
Knowledge of automotive fuel system and noise vibration
Excellent communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal.
Demonstrable ability to investigate, analyse and problem solve to implement appropriate countermeasures.
An efficient logical approach
Self motivated and the ability to work unsupervised
Qualifications
A minimum of HND in an engineering discipline
Degree qualification in mechanical or automotive engineering preferred
