Job Description:  This is a really exciting opportuntity to join one of the world's largest award winning browser game portals. Our client is looking for a Regional Marketing Manager to cover the UK & Northern Europe side of the business based from London. This is a wide-ranging marketing role and they are looking for someone to localise online and off-line marketing activity to increase product brand recognition, engagement, registrations and revenues. They are looking for someone with a proven track record in product and digital marketing including operational marketing experience across social media, online newsletters , direct mail and PR. Key responsibilities: Defining and execute an effective product marketing strategy for games in UK and Northern Europe, conducting research and analysis and working in cooperation with the Group level marketing teams, including Product Marketing, Social Media, CRM, PR and Performance Marketing to localise marketing activities to suit the UK, Scandinavian and Benelux markets. Helping to define messaging and positioning for games launches in UK and Northern Europe and develop the appropriate "tone of voice" in the these markets. Defining content and style for newsletters, promotions, direct mail campaigns, marketing materials etc and liaise with central teams to implement these campaigns. Managing the content and text of the website in UK and Northern Europe, writing marketing copy and working with central teams to implement. Forming and maintaining relations with relevant Press and PR contacts including local games and entertainment industry publications and journalists; leading the company's participation at in-country games events. Working with the business development teams to develop B2B marketing ideas and campaigns. Working closely with the localization and technical teams to ensure products look and feel local. You'll have Proven track record in product and digital marketing, including operational marketing experience across a social media, online newsletters and direct mail and PR. In-depth knowledge of the UK, Scandinavian and Benelux consumer and how he/she interacts with online brands and products. Online industry experience and passion for the games industry. Demonstrated expertise in and up to date knowledge of social media and social media trends. Ideally a blogger, tweeter and avid consumer of social media. Experience of performance marketing (SEO, SEM, Affiliate marketing, etc). Strong network of contacts in UK and Northern Europe media / marketing. Ideally both B2C and B2B marketing experience. Outstanding written and oral communication skills including the ability to write compelling marketing copy; English as mother tongue.
