Job Description: Home Manager required for Residential Home St Neots, Camridgeshire Job Title: Registered Home Manager Location: St Neots area, CambridshireHours: 40 Hours per weekSalary: £34,974 per annum Job Summary: The Manager is responsible for the general, administrative, financial and operational management of the home and the provision of high quality care that meets the needs of the individual service users. The Manager is also responsible for the development of an appropriate environment and a culture that supports the aims and objectives of Brookdale Care and meets the Department of Health’s ‘Health and Social Care Act 2008’ as required by Care Quality Commission(CQC). Key Skills, Qualifications and Attributes: NVQ 4 RMA / Leadership in Management Qualification A Management degree or equivalent (at least NVQ 3), essential Proven experience in Residential Management An understanding of the issues faced by people with Autistic Spectrum Condition Experience Managing Residential Home with ASC Service Users, and advantage but not essential Working knowledge of the CQC and other legislation pertaining to Registered Care Homes Excellent communication and motivation skills Effective change management skills Willingness to learn and use new skills appropriate to the job by attending both formal courses and “in house' teaching sessions Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Sound leadership and management qualities, must be able to delegate, motivate and mange a team Computer literate, (Word and Excel) To work flexibly in accordance with the needs of the service Car owner/driver desirable Experience in the recruitment and selection of staff, desirable Other Information:All applicants must be able to work in the UK without any Visa Restrictions or Work Permit requirements, sponsorship is not providedShortlisted applicants will be contacted directly within 2 weeks of receiving your application.Successful applications will be subject to a successful CRB Disclosure and two satisfactory references.
