Job Description: Company: Global Software Provider is looking for a Technical Support Analyst to join their growing team. You will come from a Technical Support/ Customer Support and SQL background, and will have an understanding of how websites work i.e. will have basic exposure to HTML and Javascript. PLEASE NOTE: only applications sent in Word documents and from applicants within the UK will be considered. Essential experience, which must be included in your CV: - Ability to effectively prioritise and escalate customer support issues as required - Database experience, particularly with Oracle and involving SQL or PL/SQL - Knowledge of HTML and of common web protocols (HTTP, FTP, etc.). - Outstanding problem solving skills and attention to detail. Must be able to think creatively about issues to find a resolution - The ability to learn quickly and independently - Excellent communication skills Role: - You will work on technical support requests to do with bespoke applications in order to resolve clients queries - Provide ongoing support to clients by following established processes and procedures - Log and properly document all issues, as well as provide timely and consistent status communication to clients - Work closely with multiple groups within the company to drive product direction and enhanced client services - Satisfy client-specific investigation needs using PL/SQL and other technologies Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 Basic + Bonus + Company benefits.
