Job Description: A genuine market-leading non-food retailer is looking to bring in a regional (or area) manager into their flagship region. The business has continued to trade strongly, mainly down to an excellent product range presented to the customer with style and innovation, they are currently undergoing a very customer-centric change program that will make delivering an excellent customer experience the heart of everything they do.
As a regional manager you will lead at least 25 stores, working alongside a regional HRBP and reporting to your store director. You will be responsible for building your own business in a very competitive market and must drive genuine ownership through your store teams, as developing customer loyalty will be critical to your longer-term success.
Specific product experience is not necessary, however it is vital that you have worked in a customer focused and brand driven environment – this could be gained in any sector from clothing right across to electrical. You must be an inspiration to your team, having the charisma to gain buy-in at all levels from the shop floor to the board room.
