Job Description: The role involves supporting individuals within their own homes around the Gedling and Arnold areas of Nottingham. Various shifts are available ranging from 7-8am, 4.30-5.00pm and 8pm-10pm 7 days a week.The role includes supporting your clients in the community, shopping trips, meals out, social events and into town, promoting independence at all time. Personal care is involved in this role. You need to have clear communiction skills and be able to support with tasks in the house such as cooking and cleaning. Need to be approachable and trustworthy and have the ability to build relationships with vulnerable people.
Experience with learning disabilties, personal care, moving and handling, first aid, driving license is an advantage but not essential. MUST HAVE 12months experience as a support worker, a CRB check will be required and 5years worth of references will be checked by ourselves
