Job Description: Business Development Manager Salary circa £30,000 - £40,000 Safe Working at Heights and Safe Working in Confined Spaces are two areas of our workplaces that offer some tremendous challenges to those people who are tasked with ensuring a safe working environment. In many various types of industry people are at work every day in these extremely hazardous environments and many fatalities at work are the result of accidents whilst working at heights or in confined spaces. Our client has developed a range of services which provide a one stop shop for both height and confined space safety. They are now seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager to sell their many training programmes. MARKETING ��� Defining and developing routes to market o Trade bodies o Industry schemes o Government schemes o Funding models PR ��� Testimonials ��� Case studies ��� Editorials ��� Indentify market communities-articles etc CUSTOMER and COMPETITOR ANALYSIS ��� Position in each marketplace ��� Competitors strengths and weaknesses ��� USP MARKETING AND SALES DOCUMENTATION ��� Control & development of documentation ��� Keep up to date website content ��� Source and develop content e.g. editorials EXISTING CUSTOMERS ��� Account management ��� Strengthening of relationships ��� Identification of training requirements - training needs analysis PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS ��� Identify target markets and specific customers-who are they? ��� Communication with decision maker ��� Development of relationships ��� Identification of training requirements - training needs analysis ��� Take order QUALITY ��� Recruitment and control of sub contractors ��� Development of trainers/delivery partners ��� Measurement of delivered quality ��� Organisation of trainer/delivery partner induction process ��� Delivery partner agreement ��� Review and improvement plans
