Job Description: Technical Sales Estimator / Cost Planner Our client requires the expertise of an experienced Estimator / Cost Planner for its global building services installation and manufacturing operations. The company is a market leader in this sector and requires a switch-on Estimator to not only manage sales and cost analysis, but also develop the in-house technical sales team based at their head office in the South East. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar or related role, including cost analysis for manufacture, installation and service of building products in residential, retail, commercial and infrastructure sectors. Candidates applying from construction based sales roles will be highly regarded due to the nature if this role. Ideally the ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent with a sales or estimating experience. Requirements: * A minimum of three years experience in a similar role; * Strong estimating experience with commercial, retail, building services & infrastructure; * Experience with various types of contract agreements; * Competent in the use of MS Office & various office software packages; * Experience with various estimating systems; * Confident approach to work & a good attention to details; * Ability to work with tight deadlines & show consistent time management; * Can lead a team and develop services; * Must be Educated to degree or a similar level of competence; * Work based experience will be highly desired; A natural ability with direct sales would be highly advantageous. As well as a confident can-do attitude and the ability to sell and build strong client relationships creating key end user accounts.
