Job Description: My client is an independent healthcare company providing NHS services. They have been awarded the contract to manage acute care in the community throughout North London. They are seeking to recruit Occupational Therapists on a permanent basis, to work as part of the Stroke Rehabilitation service. Positions will be Band 6 / Band 7 equivalent. Successful applicants will become members of the Specialist Stroke Team and will manage a caseload across a defined geographical area of North London. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team that will include Nurses, Doctors, Care Assistants and other Therapists. It will be the primary role of the Occupational Therapists to assist their patients to have the maximum independence in as many areas of their life as possible. OT is an extremely important part of Stroke rehabilitation and applicants must have previous experience of working with this client group. To apply for this post you will be Band 6 or 7 level and will be HPC Registered. You will also need a full UK driving licence. Any offers of employment will be made strictly subject to an enhanced CRB and satisfactory references
