Job Description: Account Director- Business Development for Marketing Industry Central London Circa £30,000 Basic (£40,000 OTE) We are a unique business development company. Account Director Job Description: Based in Soho, we help marketing services agencies to meet new potential clients. We work with some of the biggest and best agencies in the world of advertising, media, DM, branding, sales promotion and digital. As an Account Director your role will be to generate properly qualified opportunities for your clients to meet prospective clients, typically at Marketing Director level. You will work directly on a small number of your own clients, and oversee others. Your main focus will be to; ��� Act as your clients' voice. This involves making intelligent sales calls and building relationships with prospects both over the phone and via written materials. You will need to be able to demonstrate a track record of relevant sales success. ��� Work with senior management to devise strategies and execute tactics that will help your clients meet prospective clients, be invited to pitch and secure new business. ��� Constant research of stories in the news or trade presses so that you can find genuine business opportunities for your clients. We are looking for someone with proven sales and leadership experience, ideally within a new business function targeting the marketing community. We are looking with people who have a passion for business development, and a good knowledge of the world of marketing and marketing comms.
