Job Description: Our client is currently seeking a Customer Service Manager who will be managing a small team of Customer Service Advisors.
The main purpose of the role is to ensure the company’s customers’ requirements are filled and expectations exceeded, in helping develop and maintain customer service policy and manage the team by introducing KPI’s (key performance indicators).
Duties will include advising line manager and other senior managers, providing help, assistance and advice to customers. Investigating and resolving customer and monitoring. Complaint handling, management, monitoring and escalation. Analyses of statistics to determine the level of customer service and compiling reports. Develop complaint procedures, customer service procedures, policies and standards. Customer services staff selection, recruitment and appraisals.
The successful applicant will ideally have worked within a similar Customer Service Manager role within e-commerce or mail order retailing. Experience with internet marketing advantageous. Based near Brighton, East Sussex.
Skills required:
• Previous knowledge in E-commerce/Mail Order Retailing
• Knowledge in Internet Marketing
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
• Excellent problem analysis and problem-solving abilities
• IT Skills: Business Application System (ERP or similar) lead/based processes and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Salary up to £30,000 neg (depending on knowledge)
37.5 hours per week
20 days holiday plus bank holidays
