Job Description: Automotive Motor Trade Job, Smart Repairer Required in Lancashire
£18,270 Basic £23,670 OTE, 40 Hours per Week
Job Purpose:
To accurately and skilfully undertake cosmetic repairs for the Service and Sales department. This is a mobile operation and requires the Smart Repair Technician to work from a fully equipped Smart Repair van on site.
Key Elements of the Role:
•Carry out all cosmetic repairs to the highest standard according to best practise procedures. Typical repairs will include;
-Bumper scuffs
-Alloy wheel refurbishments
-Small Dents and scratches
•Use all paint mixing schemes equipment accurately for all paint repairs.
•Seek clarification from the Service Manager or Sales Manager if the direction on a job is not clear.
•Ensure assigned jobs are completed within the time assigned. Cosmetic repairs should be completed within 2 hours.
•Ensure any additional faults are reported to the Service Manager or Vehicle Preparation Centre Manager.
•Report accurately and correctly all components, materials, consumables and hours used on each vehicle repair job, keeping wastage to a minimum. Keep work area clean, tidy and free from hazards.
•Ensure all policies and practises are followed adhering to the retail and wholesale standards to build upon the professional reputation.
