Job Description: Machine mover required for specialist supplier of processing equipment. The candidate must be able to work under their own initiative in loading, and unloading industrial machinery and equipment. Must have a 'can do' attitude be extremely flexible and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The role requires someone with an understanding of current Health & Safety regulations and best practice associated with lifting (LOLER). Typical loads vary in size, weight & shape so therefore the need to remain focused whilst having the ability to assess situations is essential. Essential: FLT Counterbalance license to load high value machinery on to pallets and then in to containers to be shipped all over the world. Essential: Manual Handling Certificate Essential: Have own transport as the location is not accessible by public transport Desirable: Basic Carpentry as the job will involves crating and pallet alterations along with shrink wrapping using a heat gun. The role will require general warehouse duties which include house-keeping, cleaning & dusting equipment and ensuring the layout is kept tidy for client viewings. Cleaning, numbering, photographing and logging details for advertising purposes of all machinery delivered to site. Mon to Fri days based role however a flexible working attitude towards hours / workload is required to suit business needs. Rate of Pay : £18500 - £20000 pa depending on experience
