Job Description: Customer Service Representative Total Gas and Power are looking for a Customer Service Representative to come and join their Customer Services Team. The overall aim of the role is to provide first line customer support, dealing with basic queries and enquiries; directing queries to other team members and internal teams and following up answers. To answer efficiently and accurately all calls and basic customer account enquiries. Activities �Resolve basic customer queries on a timely basis logging information accurately on all customer management systems. �Record and progress in-depth customer queries with the back office team and other departments as necessary. �Ensure that all customer contact activity is carried out in an efficient manner by managing workflows and keeping customers informed where required. �Learn and understand how to amend customer accounts in terms of address changes, meter readings, copy invoices and account statements. �Understand concepts of vacant sites and generally assist with team responsibilities and administration as required. �Upon receiving customer complaints, follow the appropriate escalation procedures. �May have specialist area of knowledge: Key Accounts, Change of Occupancy, First Bill ... Skills experience required �Professional telephone manner �1+ yrs experience working in a customer facing environment
