Job Description: Our client, a non-for-profit organisation, is urgently seeking a Senior Developer to join their growing technical team. This role will involve advanced system architecture, design and build with use of .NET C#, SQL Server and SharePoint 2010. The ideal candidate will be an adept communicator, who is polished and professional. The aim of our client is to simplify ways of connecting people to specialist organisations and services that provide information on a range of health, housing, education, employment, welfare and social issues. The service is delivered through various partner organisations and runs on a number of platforms including the internet, digital TV, touch-screen kiosks, stand-alone PCs and mobile phones. The company is going through an exciting period of growth and development and has a number of successful products in the pipeline. Reporting to the Technical and Production Director, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and solutions to the company as well as designing and maintaining company or client applications. Key duties of the role will include: - Maintaining the current CMS system and client sites - Mentor junior members of the team - Manage complex sites simultaneously - Establishing strong and flexible relationships with personnel in other departments The ideal candidate will be able to communicate with different audiences and be able to read people effectively. The successful candidate will be a natural problem solver who also has immaculate attention to detail. It is essential that the candidate has at least 4 years experience with .NET C#, ASPX, HTML, Jscript, XML, SQL Server and XLST and 4 years experience with CMS, SEO, Accessibility and large databases.
