Job Description: This interesting and diverse role has arisen within our client's organisation for a Head of Major Donors. The successful candidate will work for a charitable organisation and, due to the nature of the role, should be well versed in fundraising practices. The role requires a strong track record in business development, maximising major gift income from existing supporters, new clients, trusts and governments and will be instrumental in implementing the strategy for growth in income. The ability to expand, lead, manage and motivate, creating a cohesive team eager to develop and diversify fundraising activities are also requirements. This is a Kent based role, although some travel will be required as will flexible working practices. Due to the nature of this role, there is a genuine occupational requirement for applicants to be committed followers of a Christian faith. Additional Benefits include: Annual leave entitlement of 20 days per year plus the Christmas/New Year office closure and 8 paid public holidays per year. Non-contributory pension scheme (10%) salary on the completion of probation.
