Job Description: Communications Officer, Automotive, £35k+, Merseyside, Long term contract. This renowned automotive manufacturer now has an exciting and interesting position for an experienced PR/Communications Officer to join its proffesional and dedicated new brand product launch team. Based at its Liverpool manufacturing site with occasional travel to the Midlands and having at least 2 years experience in a previous PR role, the successful applicant will be responsible for PR activities in relationship to the product launch of its new and exciting automotive model along with a brand awareness programme to all of its employees. Other duties will include: External and Internal communications, supporting press and media events, news letters, community activities, plant tours , press releases and general marketing and communications activities. The ideal candidate must have strong communication and PR skills along with previous event planning experience and an extensive knowledge of press and media events. The communications officer must also be competent and confident when public speaking.
