Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen for a hardworking and innovative Design Engineer to join our Client’s Design Engineering department, working on exciting & challenging new projects for both construction & agricultural applications.
Qualifications / Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following:
• Degree / HND in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in the design of off road / agricultural vehicles. (ESSENTIAL)
• Enthusiastic attitude with desire to succeed.
• Good teamwork & communication skills.
• A sense of urgency.
• A working knowledge of a 3D CAD and data management system, ideally but not essentially Unigraphics, Ansys (FEA) & associated supporting software is also preferred although not essential.
Duties:
Reporting to a Principal Engineer, the successful candidate will join an energetic
team, pushing an expanding product range to greater success; main duties including:
• Various aspects of vehicle design.
• Engineering input to NPI projects.
• Support of current product and service improvements.
• Prototypes build support.
• Engineering calculations.
• Liaison with internal / external customers / departments, as required during projects.
Salary: Up to £35,000 for experienced candidate.
Basic Hours: 39hrs / week 08:30 to 17:00 (16:00 on Fridays)
Fringe Benefits: Pension Scheme, Health Scheme.
Relocation: Negotiable- generally covering all physical relocation costs.
