Job Description: A Local education service in North London require a manager for their Duke of Edinburgh awards unit. It is essential for this post that the applicant have experience working within a Duke of Edinburgh awards unit and proven experience of working with young people. It is desirable for this post that the applicant have experience working within a youth service and previous management experience. The successful applicant will be providing advice, support and guidance to Duke of Edinburgh award's units in school, voluntary organisations and council youth centres and projects. Leading and managing youth support service expeditions and quality assuring Duke of Edinburgh Award's expeditions run by schools. Ensuring the service meets its targets both locally and regionally.
