Job Description: Another excellent opportunity from the team here at Ripe4 in the world of Operational Excellence. Our client is based in mainland Europe and they are looking for a Lean Manager to fill a newly opened post. You will report in directly to the Plant Manager and Head of Productivity gains and will primarily be responsible cost savings, value stream mapping of machinery, developing the Lean Six Sigma Programme. This will involve a large amount of mentoring, coaching and developing the skills and awareness of staff. This medical manufacturing environment has a focus on milling and drilling technology, so you should have a shop floor background in these areas along with knowledge of computer navigated machines. This role will have responsibility for the Lean practice over 2 sites with around 750 people. The staff are aware of lean as they have had 5S, there are also guidelines for 6sigma but no homogenous material, but with senior management totally bought into the change philosophy you will have the chance to develop the lean six sigma programme, realise significant cost savings and progress to a leading position within this young company.
