Job Description: Our client is a supplier of Ladies and Mens wear to the high street, they also have their own brand, they are looking for a Designer to join their team in Manchester Main Duties: - Working with Design Manager/Senior Designer to ensure that trend and colour information is produced for the dept in line with company, divisional and dept strategy providing choice for customers - Attending trade fairs - Monitoring and evaluating sources of inspiration in the industry and wider markets leading to product opportunities and ensuring they are incorporated into the ranges - Regularly review competitors - Ensuring that department trend and colour info is produced, communicated and distributed internally to other functions and suppliers - Sourcing when appropriate - Working closely with suppliers and sourcing offices to ensure that samples processed to meet deadlines - Produce design specs - Liaise with Far East and have Far east experience
