Operations Manager Job Details

The main duties in this position are budget management; delivery of KPIs; effective leadership and management of the operational, warehouse and administration teams; team building and morale management; ensure compliance to SOPs; responsibility for issues relating to Health & Safety and the Environment; maximise accuracy, productivity and space utilisation; translate and deliver customer needs through effective operations; some facilities management; and ensure daily / weekly workload planning and volume forecasting routines are accomplished.

You must be educated to High School standard or equivalent; have experience in budget management, KPI, people management and workload planning. It is essential you have worked at this level previously and knowledge of the publishing industry would be a distinct advantage.

The salary is c£40k plus car benefits and medical cover.
