Nurses Palliative care - Canada
Responsibilities:
Delivering frontline nursing care, your responsibilities will include use of your professional assessment skills to perform a thorough holistic assessment of each client and identify the client's needs by utilizing information from the client, caregiver(s), the home environment, the CCAC referral and other sources. Functioning as a member of a nursing team who are accountable for the nursing care it provides, you will develop appropriate time-specific, measurable goals and outcomes in collaboration with the client and/or caregiver(s), and in keeping with the CCAC goal for treatment. As an organized and responsible nursing professional you will utilize the forecast, client nursing needs, client preference and client location to plan the day's schedule of nursing visits.

The Employer/Position details are as follows:
- Position is of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) ( note that in Canada LPN
is a highly skilled job
- Salary is $22-$26 CAD per hour depending upon qualifications
- This is a permanent full time job offer
- The employer will sponsor a Permanent Resident Visa application for the
nurse and his/her family if applicable
- The employer is located in British Columbia, Canada
- The work is in elderly care homes
We will provide the following services:
- Act as the liason between nurse and the employer to finalize the offer
of employment
- Coordinate with the employer to obtain an Arranged Employment Opinion
(AEO) from HRDC.
- Prepare and submit the nurse’s application for a permanent resident
visa to
- Assist the nurse in obtaining an interim permit to practice as a nurse
with the BC LPN association.

The processing time to obtain a permanent resident visa for
currently taking 12 months on average for this type of visa.

Must be in a position to speak English fluently. Knowledge of French would be an added advantage.
