My client is looking for an RSCW to work with young people in a residential setting with learning disabilities and behavioural issues. You must have an NVQ3 in Children and young people and have an awareness of legislative requirements and policies i.e child protection and the criminal justice act. My client is looking for candidates who have a minimum of a years experience within a similar setting and proven experience within children's residential services, ideally with learning disabilities. Suitable candidates must have the ability to motivate young people through social and leisure activities and support them with personal and social skills to maximise independence. As a Residential Social Care Worker you must have the ability to be flexible and work shifts on a rota basis, this will include sleep ins and waking night shifts when required.
Must be NVQ3 qualified with children and young people and have a years experience in a similar setting supporting young people, ideally with learning disabilities
