Job Description: WELL-ESTABLISHED UK RETAILER SEEKS REPORTING AND ANALYSIS MANAGER AS THEY EMBARK ON PERIOD OF MAJOR EXPANSION.

My Client has been enjoying exceptionally successful trading in the last 2 years and is now ready to embark on a period of major expansion.As a result they are now looking to build their Head Office team and are looking for a new Reporting and Analysis manager.
THE JOB
• Within this pivotal role, you will provide actionable analytical insights into key business areas for performance measurement purposes; you will monitor customer behaviour, buying trends, competitor and industry performance, marketing / insight and financial data.
• You will apply your broad analytical knowledge and skills (Advanced Excel, Advanced Access, VBA) to provide business critical insights into the competitive landscape and to create a detailed picture of what your customers are doing, what they want and how to improve ROI.
• This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded statistical analyst who is keen to deliver insights that directly affect key business drivers around buying, marketing, operations, retail development and pricing strategies.
YOU MUST BE;
• Advanced statistical analysis skills with Advanced Excel, Advanced Access, VBA. SQL and Business Objects advantageous but not essential.
• Proven academic background in a relevant subjects, such as Maths, Statistics, Operational Research, Economics etc
• The ability to define, analyse, collate data from key analytical projects and synthesise results into compelling arguments to present to the business. It is essential that you are confident analysing a data and information and apply it to business strategy
• Proven analytical and commercial acumen and attention to detail.
• Strong organisation and communication skills with the ability to communicate up to director level.
• A committed people manager and motivator, and know how to get the best from your team.
