Job Description: We are looking for an Armature Winder to join our team in Sheffield. Reporting directly to the workshop Manager, your main areas of responsibility will require you to: 1. Inspect customer motors for defects 2. Repair medium and high voltage AC windings 3. Repair DC stator and armature windings 4. Test motors for electrical and power standards Technical Competencies 1. Craft Apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 2. Computer skill level in specialised diagnostic kit 3. Ability to work from drawings including electric schematics 4.
