Job Description: Role Description
The Civil Site Agent will be required to deliver various civil Engineering projects across the South East and South West of England, providing expert Management in relation to railway interface, including
- bridge reconstructions
- heavy and deep drainage
- temporary works
- platform extensions
- station works
- reinforced concrete
- earthworks
- sidings works
- piling and tunnelling works
- box jacking works
You will use your civil engineering and rail experience to provide expert knowledge on procedures and practices in order to deliver these elements of the job.
You will manage the workforce and sub-contractors on site and be able to produce and manage all site paperwork including method statements, Work Package Plans and risk assessments. You will have excellent communication skills and be passionate about health and safety on site.
Required Experience
A Civil Engineering qualification. Candidates must have a proven background of running and managing rail civil engineering sites at Agent level. This is to include responsibility for production of method statements, risk assessments and all other paperwork associated with site management. You will have a proven track record of managing a workforce and sub contractors within a heavy civils environment. And be a firm believer in Health and Safety practice. Projects will be spread across the South of England so the successful candidate can expect to be working away from home for long periods.

The organisation operates across multiple markets, including Water, major highways, rail and various heavy civil projects. There is the opportunity to develop to Project Management level as an emphasis is put on training to enable growth of the individual and the company.
