Job Description: A new government-funded organisation is looking for a Press Officer to join their busy team on an interim basis. Duties will include supporting the Manager and Advisor, handling proactive and reactive press, dealing with media queries, liaising with press and policy officials, monitoring media coverage and keeping forward planning grids up to date. The successful candidate will have previous government/public sector experience in a press related role. They must be able to hit the ground running and work both autonomously as well as in a team. The role is offered for 2-3 months with room for extension. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Press Officer looking to expand on their experience and take on more responsibility in a newly created organisation.
