Job Description: My client is a premium provider of both ready meals and produce to the UK market, operating as supplier to the major multiples and unders its own brand name. Due to its continued drive for bringing new and innovative products to the consumer, they are looking for an experienced Development Technologist to run the companies NPD activity in the UK. Ideally you will alreadty have 3-5 years experience of developing new products to customer briefs, having worked in a team, you will be ready to move into a position where you will have sole responsibilty for product development at the site, working closely with Sales and Marketing and championing the NPD process across the business. Your skills will not only be in the kitchen, but also in bringing these products through factory line trials and ensuring that products are able to be manufactured within the factory. You will have strong culinary skills, be ambitious and able to manage the complete process and ultimately be ready for the responsibility of driving this business forward.
