Job Description: Mechanical Design Engineer to £32k

Mechanical Design Engineer required to join a progressive team of multi-disciplined engineers operating from an integrated manufacturing and technical centre, that specialises in offering their customers enhanced design engineering capability, greater manufacturing expertise and 24/7 service & technical support.
Mechanical Design Engineer who is technically motivated with a broad mechanical engineering knowledge, will be developing both current and future equipments and be responsible for conceptual design, detail design, technical documentation, design calculations and feasibility studies. Although a mechanical position, knowledge of electrical and PLC systems is advantageous
The position is based in Hampshire, however at times there will be a requirement to work with other teams within the group and there is some possibility of foreign travel.
You will be well organised and be able to communicate effectively with customers, senior management, both internal and external, and have experience in the manufacturing industry, designing special purpose machines or capital equipment, therefore CAD skills is essential (SolidWorks & AutoCAD)
You can expect a base salary up to £32k, pension, and 25 days holiday per annum + statutory bank holidays. Based in Hampshire, is commutable from Southampton, Guildford, Woking, Basingstoke & Reading
