Job Description: 38000-45000 GBP Per Year HR Manager (Training / Learning & Development) Full / Part TimeOur client was established in 1988 and has since grown to be the largest independent Information Storage and Digital Consumer product distributor in the UK and Ireland.The company turns over in excess of �140 million a year, represents over 40 key manufacturers and offers 3000 plus products employing 100 employees across UK and Ireland.Position: Group HR & Sales Training ManagerLocation: London, NW10Salary: �38k-�45k plus bonuses and benefits (pro rata if part time)ROLE:Reporting into the Group Managing Director the Group HR & Sales Training Manager is responsible for providing generalist human resources services to our client�s managers and employees covering learning and development, recruitment and retention, talent management, employee relations, performance management, and employee compensation and benefits.There will be a strong emphasis on providing Training and Learning and Development for the Company�s Sales force, therefore the ideal candidate will have a stronger background in Sales Training then in general HR management, although experience in both is a must.This is a senior role within the company managing a HR officer in Ireland and taking active part in strategic management meetings.RESPONSIBILITIES:a) Develop and execute Learning and Development strategy for all roles.e) Advertise, select and interview best candidates to all open roles, using psychometric and job specific competence tests, while liaising with line Managers to achieve best fit.g) Provide an advisory role to managers on both UK and European employment law.h) Responsible for following, organising and executing disciplinary, capability and grievance procedures.i) Maintain accurate and comprehensive online and manual personnel records and ensure records adhere to UK and European employment law and regulations.j) Liaise with the payroll officer to ensure payroll is accurate and reflects absence, employee working patterns and pay changes.k) Coordinating of company benefits schemes.l) Manage, train and develop the HR Team members.ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCEa) Previous Generalist HR Officer/Manager experience in a sales driven organisation with particular strength/focus in Training and Development of sales staff.b) Bachelor or higher degree in a HR related subject.c) Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.d) Demonstrate proactivity and ability to work without close supervision.e) Excellent negotiation skills.f) Good communication and listening skills.g) Knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel applications.h) Prepared to undertake travel to Southern Ireland on business on a regular monthly basis.DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:a) Full or Part CIPD qualified.b) Previous HR role in a company with a large sales force preferably in the IT industry, managing more than one site.c) Knowledge of all current employment legislation.d) Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.You may have experience in the following roles: Group HR & Training Manager, HR Manager, HR Business Partner, Senior HR Consultant, Human Resources Business Partner, Human Resources Manager, Head of HR, Employee Relations Manager, CIPD, Learning & Development, Learning and Development, L&D, Learning & Development Manager, Learning & Development Officer, L&D Manager, HR Training Manager, Employee Development, etcThis vacancy is being advertised by EasyWebRecruitment.com, the UK�s leading Flat Fee Recruitment Agency.
