Job Description: 42-45 GBP Per Year Lead UI Developer - (Javascript and .NET) Major Sporting OrganisationA Lead UI Developer - (Javascript and .NET) is required for one of TEKsystems most prestigious, national sporting clients.The Lead UI Developer - (Javascript and .NET) is required to develop the user interface of the clients's portfolio of external and some internal facing websites. Day to Day duties will include:• To build web applications and interactive websites using browser-based client side code, specifically XHTML, CSS and Object Oriented JavaScript • To take responsibility for comprehensive unit and functional test coverage to ensure code quality across all supported browser platforms • To code with future proofing and re-usability of code in mind and to be aware of the effects of certain coding Practices. • To keep abreast of new developments in client side technology and advise and share information, ideas and best practises with the team. • To document own work. • To liaise with the Development Manager/Technical Architect throughout the project phase to ensure that all technical possibilities, problems and limitations are explored and that projects achieve the intended look, feel and functionality. • To monitor own work against the production schedule closely and provide progress updates and report any issues or technical difficulties to the Project Leaders on a regular basis.
