Job Description: 35000-40000 GBP Per Year Web Development Manager / Technical Manager (PHP)Our client is a digital agency that plans, creates and delivers branded content and applications across web, mobile and social media channels.They are now looking for a creative, motivated, organised and hands-on Technical Manager to manage web development on a number of exciting new client projects.Position: Technical ManagerLocation: Clerkenwell, London EC1Salary: �35-40KROLE:This is a key role and will be an integral part of our client�s delivery team, working closely with their designers and digital producers to ensure that they create slick, professional and highly engaging web experiences.RESPONSIBILITIES:a) CMS development and integration.b) Database development.c) Front end development including CSS & Javascript.d) Managing development of specialised work (e.g. Flash production).e) Project management.ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:a) Proven experience in a hands-on website development and build (candidates should be able to show examples of their work).b) Highly competent in PHP-based CMS development (Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress) and MySQL database development.c) Highly competent in HTML, Javascript & CSS.d) Familiar with design software including Photoshop, Illustrator and other Adobe Creative Suite components.e) Demonstrable passion for digital media and social networks.f) Flexible with ability to adapt to client needs.g) Strong communication skills.h) Confident working under pressure.DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCEa) Knowledge of how to optimise UX, SEO and accessibility.b) Experience of Flash & ActionScript.c) Experience in Perl & Perl-based CMS�s.d) FBML/FQL & Twitter API experience.e) Experience in working with advertising / marketing agencies and / or consumer brands.f) Experience of managing external developer resource.You may have experience in the following roles: PHP Developer, Technical Team Manager, Technical Manager, Design Team Manager, Web Design Manager, Web Development Manager, Online Technical Manager, Web Content Manager, Web Design Manager, UI Development, GUI Developer, Web Project Manager, Interface Development, Web UI Developer, User Interface Developer, Senior Interface Developer, Digital Design Manager, Website Design Manager etcThis vacancy is being advertised by EasyWebRecruitment.com, the UK�s leading Flat Fee Recruitment Agency.
