Job Description: 40000-40000 GBP Per Year Our client is a leading Cloud computing / SaaS consultancy based in the West End.They urgently seek an experienced Technical Operations Engineer with strong Red Hat / Centos to work with Service Delivery on resolving technical issues and client escalations.Essential skills/ experience:- 5 years managing medium to large scale infrastructures- High availability demands after hours and weekend work as and when requiredTechnical Expertise- Knowledge of Centos, clustering technologies- Jboss / Java exposure - Internet protocols, particularly SMTP, POP, HTTP & TCP/IP - Centos and *nix based scripting technologies (bash, sed, awk, and others)- -PostgreSQL DBA skills- monitoring, automation tools Opsview, Nagios, Spacewalk and Puppet.Desirable- Educated to degree standard- SaaS technologies and platforms- Certifications in programming, Linux Engineering and Networking- HP server hardware and storage- building and managing virtualised server farmsImmediate interview with a start ASAPPlease forward your cv to stuart.massingham@edit.uk.netEDIT are acting as an employment agency with regards to this vacancy
