SUMMARY:The role consists of identifying, developing and selling innovative, value added, long term oil free and oil flooded compressed air service solutions for larger compressed air end users in the UK. Current Blue Chip clients include Heinz, Rolls Royce and Corus, with whom we have developed successful and mutually beneficial long term partnerships. The core to our strategy is to truly understand and meet our customers' needs for systems and energy optimisation, delivering a high quality alternative to the OEM (Atlas Coco). PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: * Identification and qualification of service sales opportunities and key decision makers* Selling the unique value added, innovative, customised benefits that the an Airtec partnership can offer* Initial site surveys to assess equipment use, layout, condition and opportunities for improvement* Assessment of potential for a tailored service solution, energy savings and system optimisation* Development and follow up of opportunities with professional and innovative solutions* Formatting proposals and driving the order closure process//-----------//Percentage of Travel:80Min. Yrs. Experience:3Education Standard:Education Type: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:* Knowledge of the principles air compression and air treatment systems* Knowledge techniques used to audit systems, both analytical and electrical* Experience in condition monitoring and control systems would be an advantage* Proven service sales experience and success, particularly with end users, essential* Strong business/commercial acumen essential* Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills are critical* Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team * Microsoft Office package and e-mail experience are essential If you share our passion for inspiring progress-for bringing about bold shifts in how people, economies and societies operate-then you belong with Ingersoll Rand.
