Job Description: 20000-25000 GBP Per Year Our client is a manufacturer of plastic components, who are currently looking to recruit an electrically biased maintenance technician for their North East based facility. The position will be shift based, alternating between days and nights and will be part of a small dedicated maintenance team.The position will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of production machinery, ensuring that all breakdowns are resolved in the most efficient manner, the planned maintenance of the machinery on site, and any project or installation work that may need to be completed.The succesful candidate will have experience of maintaining production machinery in a high volume manufacturing environment and will have served a recognised apprenticeship in a relevant discipline. The candidate will also be electrically biased, with knowledge of PLC's and will also be comfortable with some level of mechanical work.
