Job Description: - GBP Per Hour PROBLEM MANAGER - URGENT, IMMEDIATE START. Our client is an emerging & ambitious IT services business with an envious client base. This is an urgent requirement for an immediately available Problem Manager to manage problems from commencement through to resolution for one of their largest partner accounts.As a qualified professional you will:- Drive and control Problem Management investigational activities- Ensure problem records are kept up to date - maintain and assist in the development of the Problem Control process as required- Prioritise workload using severity guidelines- Efficiently manage multiple problems record activities at any one time- Monitor and recommend changes to the effectiveness of error control & problem processes- Manage peer to peer relationships with suppliers and resolver - Identify areas of Service Improvement for the customer and the Problem Management process- Drive and focus on Incident reductionSkills and experience required:- Strong background working as a Problem Manager, ideally but not essential in an outsourced environment- Competence in running and controlling problem investigation conference calls and meetings- Good understanding of technical terminology and the ability to translate that terminology into simple English- ITIL Problem Management practitioner or higher is highly desirableThis is an urgent requirement for an immediate start. The role is predominantly based in Newcastle but will require travel to Scotland and Wales also. All travel expenses will be covered and the daily rate will be dependant upon experience.
